The Master Plan

Summerset at Frick Park marks the evolution of a former industrial site to a green-living inspiration for the city of Pittsburgh. Summerset is enhanced by its prime location in the midst of a 550 acre area of Frick Park. In fact, the community has added nearly 100 acres to Frick Park.

Summerset at Frick Park encompasses approximately 210 acres and will ultimately include 710 homes. The community will be developed over the course of a few years in three distinct phases. Each phase will include neighborhood pocket parks and trails that will connect the community to Frick Park.

Summerset at Frick Park places an emphasis on pedestrian scale blocks, interconnected streets, alleyways for car access and frequent common areas and green spaces. The residential plan has been created to include a variety of home types, sizes and living options to create a diverse and dynamic urban community.
