RE: Summerset Neighborhood Association
2010 Annual Meeting
Dear Neighbors:
It has been over a year since you elected us to serve on the Board of Directors of Summerset Neighborhood Association (“SNA”). The Annual Meeting of SNA is May 12, 2010 at 6:30 PM at the Community Center. We look forward to seeing many of you there. The agenda for the Annual Meeting is as follows:
- Opening Remarks from the President
- Overview of 2009-2010 Board Activities
- Budget and Financial Report (David Rudov, Secretary-Treasurer)
- Traffic and Safety Committee Report (Josh Farber)
- Landscape and Maintenance Committee Report (Jim Abraham)
- Pool, Playground and Community Center Report (Ari Gitig).
- Update on SNA Design Code (Mark Rust)
- Report from the Developer (Craig Dunham)
- Unit Rental Issues
- Crescent Court
- Other Units
- Question and Answer
Please also keep in mind that the Board has established an e-mail address to encourage open communication between the residents and the Board. Please feel free to send all questions and comments to: SummersetBoard@gmail.com.
Let us also remind you those regular e-mails regarding community issues are sent through SNA’s property manager, The Rubinoff Company, via distribution lists. Individual email addresses are not disclosed within the e-mails. You will not be subject to cumbersome “replies” since it is a one-way communication. Therefore, please fill out the enclosed information request and bring it with you to the Annual Meeting or provide updated contact information to Pat Marsh at marsh@rubinoffcompany.com.
A copy of the revised swimming pool rules and regulations will be provided at the Annual meeting. In advance of the 2010 pool season, we are requiring all “fobs” to be registered with the management company. You may register your “fobs” with Mary Ann Sinicrope at the Annual Meeting or at the pool meeting on Saturday May 8, 2010 between the hours of 10:00 am and noon. All “fobs” will be disabled until properly registered in order to eliminate unauthorized pool use. All residents must also provide the names and ages of all adults and children within their household. A copy of the revised pool rules and regulations will also be provided.
Finally, SNA takes its traffic rules very seriously and urges all residents to comply with all posted traffic signs. The blatant disregard for traffic regulations is ongoing and of grave concern to the Board and all residents of our community.
We look forward to seeing you at the Annual Meeting.
Very truly yours,
SUMMERSET NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION BOARD
Josh Farber, President Jim Abraham, Vice President
David Rudov, Secretary-Treasurer Mark Rust, Board Member
Ari Gitig, Board Member Back
